Bertioli patterns are hand painted by Caryn Hibbert. Unashamedly boisterous, happy and wonderfully floriferous each of our patterns are inspired by the linear rows, as they grow in our cutting gardens.
Our upholstery fabrics are made from sustainably sourced linen. We use digital printing in a London factory, a process which minimises run-off and wastage.

About Pink Elderflower
A strip of Sambuca Nigra ‘black lace’ forms a tall hedgerow along the boundary between the cutting garden and the water meadows beyond.
The long elegantly arching branches with delicately serrated pink-black leaves create a wonderfully fragrant backdrop to the frothy rows of flowers in thel cutting garden.
In summer we pick the softly pink and delicately scented flowers to make the most delicious cordials, cocktails, jellies and jams bringing their heady scent to our menus, they are the very essence of summer.
