THE YARN
For the Mauden, Genevieve blends Italian lambswool and cashmere yarns for a sumptuous hand-feel that’s lightweight enough to be worn all-year-round. Presented in a tonal melange of beige and stone, it’s accented with a confetti-like scattering of bright yellow and tonal grey and brown silk tweeds.
Both our lambswool and cashmere are certified for their sustainable provenances. RWS (Responsible Wool Standards) lambswool means that not only the sheep that produce it, but the land on which they graze, is actively protected. Likewise, SFA (Sustainable Fibre Alliance) certified cashmere ensures high animal welfare standards, reduced environmental impact and a more secure livelihood for herders.
