Laura Vaughan takes inspiration from nature and The Fauves to create simple, bold pieces that are subtle and energetic.
Colour is the key in her work, using pleasing tones and working alongside interior designers she paints using emulsion paints in popular colours on paper with frames to match, and produces work that seamlessly complements the spaces in which it hangs. The result is comforting and fun and brings warmth to an empty wall.
Laura lives in Hammersmith and comes from a family of artists, designers and makers.
