    In the restaurant, our linen napkins live a busy life. Set beautifully on the tables, washed, pressed and used again and again, over time the rigours of a commercial laundry inevitably begin to show - a little fraying here, a tiny hole there.

    Faced with a growing stack of lovely linen that was no longer quite perfect enough for the restaurant, we were reluctant to simply throw it away.

    So we have partnered with Remnant Revolution to give each napkin a new lease of life.

    Every piece is repaired lovingly by hand, with its little imperfections transformed through delicate embroidered vegetables - turning a tear into a tomato, a hole into a radish, and something once destined for waste into something rather special.

    The designs make us smile, not only because they are charming, but because each one represents something saved, repaired and treasured rather than discarded.

    Due to their handmade nature, no two are quite the same.
